Los Angeles firefighters rescued a man and his dog who survived after tumbling 150 feet down a steep cliff in Lake View Terrace this afternoon. The 19-year-old man had been hiking with his father who tossed a bottle off the trail in the Valley. After responding to a call that a person had been stabbed last night, Upland police arrived at the scene to find an elderly woman lying on the front yard of her home, with the house in flames. A Canadian man died in a skydiving accident in Perris, CA yesterday afternoon.
