This officer was at his speed trap when he heard a transmission on his radio about a chase near him, so he decided to respond and take part in a short pursuit. Georgia State Patrol chase after a guy they clocked doing well over 120 mph on the highway in Atlanta. At one point speeds hit well over 140 mph and the Troopers lost the suspect. Atlanta Police helicopter spotted the guy taking a break from the chase the guy spotted the Troopers coming for him and got back on the his motorcycle without his helmet and drove off and the chase ended when the Troopers boxed the suspect in and fell from his bike and was arrested. The chase lasted about 30 minutes. When the Troopers asked why he ran the guy said “I thought that I can out run you.”
