Some local Lap-Band patients will have to wait for their new lives to begin, as two L.A. outpatient clinics have temporarily halted the surgeries. An LAPD prostitution sting along Lankershim Boulevard last Thursday ensnared a county worker, who just happened to be driving a county-issued truck at the time.
