WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is heading west Monday morning to pitch his American Jobs Act in Las Vegas and speak at campaign events there and in California. While in Las Vegas, he will speak at a campaign event and will then meet with homeowners at a private residence to talk about his jobs proposal now before Congress. Then, the president will travel to Los Angeles, where he will talk at two campaign events at private homes. He will spend the night in Los Angeles.
