The Beverly Hills Unified School District is taking a much smaller budget cut from the state than it had projected, eliminating the need for teacher furloughs this school year. 2. Two BHHS students were arrested Wednesday when the Beverly Hills Police Department conducted a drug sweep of the campus . 5. The school district is spending $15,000 a month to persuade federal officials to oppose Metro’s proposal to tunnel under BHHS. Also, the Beverly Hills Education Foundation earned more than $28,000 from a partnership with The Taste food and wine festival.
