The neighbor of a man who was shot to death by police in North Hollywood in front of his home this morning told reporters that he had reported himself to the police. A person was hit and killed by an eastbound Amtrak train Wednesday night in North Hollywood, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The collision occurred at the tracks at about 7:16 p.m. just east of the Whitsett Avenue bridge, which travels over the 170 Freeway.
