President Obama has had a busy 24 hours in Los Angeles. So far, he’s spoken at two fundraising dinners in Hancock Park, eaten some classic SoCal fare , and is now heading to NBC studios to tape a segment with Jay Leno. SoCalians have been cozying up with blue whales in recent months. A kayaker encountered a blue whale during an excursion off the coast of Redondo Beach and opted to take a swim with the ocean giant. Family Saved from House Fire by Good Samaritans

A family in Cypress was saved from their home by Good Samaritans after a fire broke out last night, reports KTLA .
