You might get motion sickness from this video…just wanted to mention that ESPD should try to make their checkpoints like other cities, so they are recognized. Drivers could only have been confused by the absurd arrangements of lights and signs in the wrong direction, and police cars with the lights flashing etc. Worst of all, I expected to see an accident the way the two screeners kept leaving their post to run into traffic on foot, or ride into it on motorcycles, yelling at people who turned through the gaping holes in the cones. ESPD have signs that only get half the message of checkpoint ahead at a time scrolling across, so blurry you cant read it. But it posts your speed large and clear, very useful for people stuck in a line of cars entering a checkpoint. They didnt design those electric signs that way because they are stupid, they did it because they know the rest of us are. Got a dui, fight it, ESPD does not know how to set up in compliance with the law, even an ignorant cyclist can see that. The Gardena flaws are not nearly as obvious…but they make up for that with the beautiful women on scene, and a calm situation where nobody is running and hollering while doing a 50 yard dash to chase sober people. Yes, I am dissing the ESPD. They should consider my comments before someone gets hurt at one of their unprofessional checkpoints. In general, suspicionless checkpoints are illegal in this country. The SCOTUS once said slavery was legal too for those that think …

California Traffic Tickets – MrCheckpoint – DUI Checkpoint Alerts
mrcheckpoint.com – California Traffic Tickets MrCheckpoint – Free DUI Checkpoint Alerts Text NODUI to 51515 First…a few facts The California Department of Motor Vehicles reports that, “There are between 450000 and 500000 traffic accidents reported annually in California alone. The six most common behaviors which cause accidents are: (a) unsafe speed, (b) violation of right-of-way rules, (c) making improper turns, (d) failing to obey stop signals and signs, (e) improper lane changes, and (f) driving on the wrong side of the road. Speed is indicated as the primary collision factor about 28% of fatal and injury collisions.” That means that over the next year at least 126000 accidents caused by excessive speed will hurt someone. In 2010, the California Office of Traffic Safety reported 1734258 speeding related convictions in California. There are approximately 22657300 licensed drivers in California. That means that about 8% of licensed drivers in California will likely receive a ticket for speeding during the next year. Receiving a ticket creates a firestorm of consequences for drivers. Your out-of-pocket costs are only the beginning of the story. And…the fine is only part of the ticket cost. The DMV says that, “Traffic fines in California are difficult to pinpoint due to additional penalty assessment fees and surcharges that vary by county. Consequently, a ticket with a $35 base fine may actually cost you $146.” Have A Traffic Ticket? Visit www.4mrticket.com MENTION …
