Week in Review: School Board Race, Black & White Ball and Vehicle Charging Stations
The Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education elections took place last week. Read about that and more in the top Beverly Hills news from Nov. 6-12. 1. The final results have yet to be released in the school board race, though incumbent Brian Goldberg has a commanding lead . 2. Supporters of Board of Education write-in candidate Noah Margo are confident that he will win one of three available Board of Education seats. 3. The 23rd annual Black & White Ball was held at the Beverly Hilton. The fundraising event supports members of the Beverly Hills Police Officers Association. 4. The city has opened a new parking facility on North Crescent Drive that features electric vehicle charging stations on all three levels. 5. Beverly Hills Porsche announced that it is moving its showroom to Westwood . Also, Beverly Hills High’s football team lost its final game of the season and will not advance to the playoffs.
