A loss of $1,500 was reported. Through the window Between 5:30 and 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 5, property was stolen from a residence on the 300 block of South Crescent Drive. Someone pried open a rear window to gain access to the home, took goods and fled. The victim reported a loss of $2,200. Deconstructed During the night of Dec. 5, a residential construction site was burglarized on the 300 block of North Maple Drive. Someone entered the secured rear gate of the site, accessed the unsecured rear door of the home, removed $18,000 worth of material and fled. Whack Shortly before midnight on Dec. 8, an assault occurred on the 9400 block of West Olympic Boulevard. Someone threw a bag containing a hard object at another person’s face and mouth. Busted lock During the night of Dec. 8, items were stolen from a storage unit on the 700 block of North Alta Drive. Someone broke the chain lock to the gate securing the unit, removed property valued at $5,300 and fled. Bike grab At 11:45 p.m. on Dec. 9, someone was caught stealing a bicycle on the 9600 block of West Olympic Boulevard. A witness observed a man described as being 35 years old, 5-feet 8-inches tall, weighing 135 pounds with black hair exiting an open garage with the bike. Police Blotter: Stolen Coins, Softball Equipment and Bicycle

Someone concealed merchandise in a large shopping bag while in the restroom, then left the store without paying. A loss of $2,250 was reported. Play ball Between 1:30-5:30 a.m. on Nov. 11, softball equipment was stolen from an unlocked car on the 700 block of North Alta Drive. The victim reported a loss of $960. Bedroom burglary Between 6-10 p.m. on Nov. 11, a burglary occurred on the 400 block of South Maple Drive. Someone pried open the screen of an apartment window to enter the location, then removed property from the bedroom and fled. The victim reported a loss of $2,000. Ride into the night Sometime between 7 p.m. on Nov. 11 and 5 p.m. on Nov. 12, a bicycle was stolen on the 200 block of South Hamilton Drive. Someone used an unknown cutting device to remove the lock that was securing the bicycle. The victim reported a loss of $2,200. Tower Drive assault At about 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 12, an assault occurred on the 200 block of Tower Drive. Where’s the beef? From June to September, two men have been stealing meat from an eatery on the 200 block of North Canon Drive. The suspects are accused of taking meat products from the kitchen area by concealing the food in trash cans. New locks Sometime between Sept. 23-26, someone stole property from a residence on the 200 block of South Reeves Drive. The suspect had changed the locks to gain access. The victim reported a loss of $19,000. Bedroom visitor Sometime between Sept. 27-28, property was stolen from the bedroom in a home on the 200 block of North Crescent Drive. The victim reported a loss of $200. Forced entry Sometime between Sept. 28-30, a home was ransacked on the 900 block of North Alpine Drive. Someone forced entry into the residence via a side door. The victim reported a loss of $2,000. Anybody home? At 11 p.m. on Sept. 29, a man was caught trying to enter an apartment on the 9600 block of West Olympic Boulevard. When confronted by the victim, the suspect fled. Oakhurst locker thefts Sometime during the night of Sept. 29, three storage lockers were looted on the 400 block of North Oakhurst Drive. Someone used an unknown tool to pry the lockers open. One victim reported a loss of $2,500. Make noise At about 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 30, someone entered a residence on the 9400 block of Sunset Boulevard. The suspect came in through a door to the game room, but fled when the homeowner screamed. Open window invitation Between 11 p.m. on Sept. 30 and 6 p.m. on Oct. 1, a bedroom was ransacked in a home on the 200 block of South Stanley Drive. Someone entered the home through an open rear bathroom window. Claws out At about 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 2, an assault occurred on the 200 block of Tower Drive.
