Not-So-American Apparel Ordered To Pay $60K After Firing Worker On Medical Leave For Cancer Treatment

Los Angeles-based American Apparel, Inc. has been ordered to pay $60,000 and provide other relief to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit today involving the firing of a Latino garment worker.
