Eleven Protesters Arrested at Occupy San Diego

On the heels of the mass eviction of Occupy LA protesters, during which 292 people were arrested, 11 members of Occupy San Diego were arrested today for trying to set up tents at the city’s Civic Center Plaza, reports Reuters . Another Stabbing on the Metro Red Line This Morning

Two people were stabbed this morning following an altercation in a Metro red line station, reports L.A. Now . It’s the third in recent months. It happened at about 4:30 a.m. at the Hollywood and Western stop, and the victims, a man and a woman, were taken to the hospital after the incident. Sunday’s Love Ride was unfortunately not-so-lovely for four of the participants. Two separate traffic incidents occurred on the 5 Freeway during the event. Two people were injured in the first accident, and two others were killed in the second.
