Man Shot in Head During Home Robbery in Downey

A man is in grave condition after he was shot in the head during a home invasion in Downey, reports City News Service. Hit-and-Run Crash on 605 Leaves One Dead

One man was killed after a hit-and-run crash on the 605 freeway at about 5:30 this morning. City News Service reports that the crash, which involved multiple vehicles including a taxi, happened on the northbound side of the freeway just south of Imperial Highway. The victim, who is in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Sole Survivor of Seal Beach Salon Massacre Released From Hospital

In last week’s deadly shooting at an Orange County hair salon, just one person survived. Harriet Stretz, 73, was hit during the attack, and after spending the weekend recovering, she has been released from a local hospital.
