Robbery Suspect Captured on Tape NR12334
LAPD Harbor Division Robbery Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect whose images were captured on surveillance video committing two robberies in the San Pedro area. On July 1, 2012, around 9:15 pm, a male Hispanic suspect entered a business located in the 300 block of Gaffey St and robbed the store employee, using a knife. The suspect took cash from the employee then fled the location on foot. On July 9, 2012, around 6:20 pm, the same suspect entered a business located in the 700 block of South Pacific Ave and robbed the store employee, using a knife. The suspect took cash and merchandise from the employee then fled the location. The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, about 20 to 25-years-old, stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He was wearing white or silver rimmed sunglasses, a black t-shirt and black pants. May 31, 2012 NR12243bb Argument Escalates to Stabbing Suspects Captured on Surveillance Video Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Northeast Division Detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the identification of the suspects who stabbed two men during an argument. On May 24, 2012, at around 12:05 am, Northeast Area officers responded to a call 9-1-1 call of an Assault with A Deadly Weapon (ADW)-cutting, at Echo Park and Scott Avenue. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics also responded and treated two victims of a stabbing. Both victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition, and were treated for stab wounds. The detective’s investigation revealed that the two victims were involved in an argument with three suspects, during which both victims were stabbed. The type of weapon used could not be determined. All three suspects fled the area on foot. The surveillance released by the Northeast Crime Analysis Detail depicts the incident. The suspects are described as two male Hispanics in their twenties and one female Hispanic also in her twenties, no further. This incident is being handled as a hate crime as the suspects made derogatory remarks regarding the victims’ perceived sexual orientation. Little Tokyo Robbery Suspect Sought NR121162bb
Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Central Division Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing information that would lead to the arrest of a suspect who robbed a store in Little Tokyo by punching two female clerks in the face. On April 6, 2012, around 4:30 pm, the suspect entered a store in the 200 block of East 1st Street, in the Little Tokyo Area of Downtown Los Angeles. The suspect immediately walked up to the store clerk behind the counter, punched her in the face, and emptied the cash register. A second clerk attempted to intervene and was also punched in the face several times resulting in major injuries. The suspect then took the contents of the cash register and both store clerks’ purses and walked out of the store. Surveillance video captured the suspect as he walked away from the store. The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, black hair, and brown eyes, about 40 years-old, stands 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs around 200 pounds. He was seen wearing a black jacket with tan pants, and dark brown dress shoes. “Nothing but a bully,” said LAPD Senior Lead Officer Jack Richter, “This suspect could have taken the money and fled, but he chose to brutally attack two innocent women who did not resist.
