A college football player performed the Heimlich maneuver on a diner during the Beef Bowl dinner in Beverly Hills. 5. Starting Jan. 1, a new state law will require children under age 8 to be buckled into a car or booster seat that is secured in a vehicle’s back seat. Also, Beverly Hills High School athletes have been selected to All-Ocean League teams in football, girls volleyball and boys water polo.
