Residential Burglars Caught on Video NR13075am
Los Angeles: On February 21, 2013, around 3 pm, three males burglarized a residence near 3rd Street and Walker Avenue in San Pedro. The suspects’ actions were caught on a nearby surveillance camera just prior to committing the burglary. Detectives were able to obtain a copy of the surveillance video and are asking for the public’s help in identifying any of the suspects. The first two suspects are seen walking side by side, one wearing a white t-shirt, black hooded sweatshirt, gray jeans and carrying a black backpack. The other is wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and carrying a brown backpack. The third suspect is walking closely behind wearing a black silk screened t-shirt, black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. The suspects removed laptops from the victim’s residence. Commercial Burglary Suspect Captured on Video Surveillance
Los Angeles: LAPD Hollenbeck Area Burglary Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect involved in a series of commercial burglaries that have occurred in the past week in the Boyle Heights area along the Cesar Chavez corridor. On November 28, 2012, around 8:30 am Hollenbeck Area officers responded to a burglary investigation in the 2800 block of Cesar E. Chavez Avenue. When officers arrived they discovered the business had been broken into and the suspect had gain entry by smashing the glass front door. Video surveillance shows the suspect entered through the front door. Once inside, the suspect can be seen going to the cash register, opening the cash drawer and removing money. The suspect is also seen taking cigarettes and lottery tickets. The suspect left the business through the smashed front door panel. The suspect is described as a 45 to 50-year-old Hispanic male with grey hair, wearing dark clothing. He stands 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 150 to 160 pounds.
