A tipster writes in to let us know about Place Yuu’s closure. I went by the Japanese restaurant Place Yuu on Sawtelle yesterday & notice it was closed, all signage was gone & windows were all construction papered up. A favorite late night sushi haunt on the Westside, the shutter comes as a surprise. So far, the papered windows don’t give any hint of what may come, and there is not yet a for lease sign on the building.
