Los Angeles: Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify armed robbers who held up a liquor store and a small neighborhood market. On July 7, 2012, around 7:40 pm, two men entered a liquor store in the 5400 block of Alhambra Avenue. One of them was armed with a hand gun. The suspects demanded money from the cashier but were scared off by another employee and ran of the store. They entered an older model blue or grey sedan and were driven away from the seen by an unknown driver. At 8:15 pm, the same two suspects entered a neighborhood market in the 3700 block of Olympic Boulevard. The same suspect, armed with handgun, demanded money from the cashier. The cashier, in fear, moved away and the second suspect grabbed the money from the cash register. The suspects left the location in a car driven by a third suspect. The suspect armed with the handgun is described as a 20 to 22-year-old male Hispanic. He stands between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 10 inches tall. He weighs between 160 and 180 pounds. He was carrying a long barrel chrome revolver with a scope attached. The second suspect is also described as a male Hispanic who stands at 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He was described as having a mustache. The third suspect is the driver of the sedan and there is no description available. Los Angeles Police Department Olympic Division Robbery Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect whose images were captured on surveillance video committing a robbery at a restaurant in the mid-town area of Los Angeles. On June 25, 2012, around 9:10 pm, a male Hispanic suspect entered a restaurant located in the 4200 block of Beverly Boulevard and robbed the store employee, using a handgun. The suspect took cash from the employee then fled the location on foot. The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, about 20 to 25-years-old, stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing a black and white baseball cap, black jacket, black pants and black shoes. The suspect also had a “Ramirez” or “Ramiro” tattoo on his upper lip. Los Angeles: A suspect used a handgun and an object resembling an explosive device to hold up a wholesale store along a busy street in the western part of Los Angeles. On March 16, 2012, around 8:40 pm, a suspect walked into a warehouse store in the 10100 block of Venice Boulevard holding a handgun and what appeared to be an explosive device. The suspect used the weapons to intimidate two store employees, forcing one to open a safe. After retrieving an undisclosed amount of money the suspect ran from the store. During the investigation Detectives discovered the stores surveillance camera had captured the suspects’ image when he entered the store on March 12 and March 15, 2012. He is described as a 50-year to 60-year-old male Black, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 180 to 200 pounds. Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify him. Detectives Seeking Help to Identify Robbery Suspect Los Angeles: Detectives released a video that captured the robbery of a neighborhood mini market. The suspect produced sawed off shotgun, pointed at the cashier and demanded money. On August 12, 2011 at 1655 hours, the suspect entered a mini market located in the 5900 block of South San Pedro Street. The suspect told the cashier in Spanish that he was embarrassed but needed the money. The suspect immediately pulled a sawed off shotgun from his left jacket sleeve. The suspect demanded money and pointed the shotgun at the cashier. The cashier in fear for her life opened the cash register and handed the money to the suspect. The suspect took the money and walked out of the mini market. The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 5′ 05″-5′ 07″, 190/210 pounds and 30-35 years of age. Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Olympic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that will lead to the arrest of a suspect responsible for a Robbery in the Olympic Area. On July 1, 2011, at around 3:16 am, an African-American male entered a Denny’s restaurant located in the 3700 block of Wilshire Boulevard. Posing as a customer, the suspect walked up to the front counter and placed an order with a restaurant employee. After the cashier opened the register the suspect pulled out a hand gun, reached around the counter and started to pull out money and the drawer from inside the cash register. Once the cash and drawer were in his hands, the suspect ran out the front door and into a black, non-descript vehicle and drove east on Wilshire Boulevard. The restaurant was equipped with a CCTV system that captured the robbery on video. The suspect is described as an African-American male that appeared to be in his mid 40s. He stood about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build and was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a stripped grey sweater, black shorts, and black shoes. Suspects Caught on Camera During Jewelry Store Robbery NR11380SF
Los Angeles: On Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at 11 am, three male Black suspects entered a jewelry store located in the 3200 block of Wilshire Boulevard. One of the suspects held the security guard at gun point while the other two smashed the glass jewelry cases with a hammer. During the robbery, the suspects removed thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from the display cases. The suspects then ran out the back door. Outside the store, they encountered the parking lot security guard, a male Korean, who they bludgeoned in an attempt to escape. The suspects then tried to carjack a vehicle driven by a Korean woman but were unsuccessful. The suspects then carjacked a Korean man for his 2001 white GMC Savana van with a California License Plate 6T97736. A third vehicle, a green Toyota van was seen leaving the scene by the third suspect. The stolen green van was reported earlier to police and was found abandoned about one mile away from the jewelry store. For reference, the parking lot security guard was initially listed in critical condition and is now in stable condition.
