Los Angeles: LAPD Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify three home invasion robbery suspects who tied up one victim during a robbery. On January 9, 2012, at about 2:35 pm, officers were called to a residence in the 12000 block of Dunblane Avenue to investigate a home invasion robbery that had just occurred. Officers discovered the suspects had forced their way into two different homes in the area, ransacking them and taking items of jewelry. One resident who confronted the suspects was tied up by them but not injured. They are described as two 20- to 25-year-old male Blacks, one 6 foot 3 inches tall weighing about 200 to 225 pounds and the other 5 feet 9 inches tall weighing about 170 to 180 pounds. When they ran from the residence, both ran to a waiting newer-model, white Chevrolet Traverse Sports Utility Vehicle with collision damage on the passenger’s front door, driven by a third suspect. Los Angeles: A homeowner’s sophisticated security system captured three burglary suspects breaking into and burglarizing a house in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles. On Tuesday, September 13, 2011, around 9:00 pm, three suspects broke into a residence in the Palisades are. The suspects were all seen entering the house through the front door after one suspect forced the door open with his shoulder. The suspects got away with items of jewelry, the value of which has not yet been determined. Suspect one is a male Black with black hair, 6 feet tall and weighing about 235 pounds. He is between 20-25 years of age and was wearing a white shirt and black pants. Suspect two is a male Black with black hair, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 185 pounds, 20-25 years of age and wearing a blue shirt, blue shorts, and a green and yellow Oakland A’s hat. Suspect three is also male Black, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 185 pounds, 20-25 years of age. He was wearing a blue and white striped polo shirt, blue shorts and a white and green Miami Dolphin’s hat. Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects who burglarized a business in the 1100 block of South Robertson Boulevard. On May 31, 2011, around 3 am, the suspects pried open the front door, kicked through the second door of a medical marijuana dispensary. Once inside, the suspects took medical marijuana, US currency, a cash register, and left the location in a light-colored minivan. Suspect No.1 is described as a 35 to 40 year old Black male. He stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He is seen wearing a black beanie cap, dark rimmed glasses, a white and blue jog suit jacket, light blue jeans and dark shoes. Suspect No.2 is described as a 35-40 year old Black male with short black hair. He stands about 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 240 pounds. He is seen wearing a black jacket over a white shirt, dark blue pants, and dark shoes. Suspects Caught on Camera During Jewelry Store Robbery NR11380SF
Los Angeles: On Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at 11 am, three male Black suspects entered a jewelry store located in the 3200 block of Wilshire Boulevard. One of the suspects held the security guard at gun point while the other two smashed the glass jewelry cases with a hammer. During the robbery, the suspects removed thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from the display cases. The suspects then ran out the back door. Outside the store, they encountered the parking lot security guard, a male Korean, who they bludgeoned in an attempt to escape. The suspects then tried to carjack a vehicle driven by a Korean woman but were unsuccessful. The suspects then carjacked a Korean man for his 2001 white GMC Savana van with a California License Plate 6T97736. A third vehicle, a green Toyota van was seen leaving the scene by the third suspect. The stolen green van was reported earlier to police and was found abandoned about one mile away from the jewelry store. For reference, the parking lot security guard was initially listed in critical condition and is now in stable condition.
