LAPD Harbor Division Robbery Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect whose images were captured on surveillance video committing two robberies in the San Pedro area. On July 1, 2012, around 9:15 pm, a male Hispanic suspect entered a business located in the 300 block of Gaffey St and robbed the store employee, using a knife. The suspect took cash from the employee then fled the location on foot. On July 9, 2012, around 6:20 pm, the same suspect entered a business located in the 700 block of South Pacific Ave and robbed the store employee, using a knife. The suspect took cash and merchandise from the employee then fled the location. The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, about 20 to 25-years-old, stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He was wearing white or silver rimmed sunglasses, a black t-shirt and black pants. Los Angeles: Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a strong-armed robber who held up a local gas station using force, fear, and a simulated handgun. On January 29, 2012, just after 10 pm, the suspect, a White male or light-skinned Hispanic, went into a gas station in the 5300 block of South Huntington Drive. He walked behind the counter and grabbed an unsuspecting clerk from behind and demanded money from the cash drawer. In fear for their life, the victim complied with the demand. The suspect left the store and drove off in a late-90s dark colored sedan. Store surveillance cameras captured the suspect’s image and getaway car. Those images are attached to this news release and the video can be viewed at lapdtv.org. The suspect was 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighed about 230 pounds and was 35 to 45 years old. Detectives warn that the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. South Los Angeles: Detectives released a video that captured the robbery of a neighborhood restaurant. On January 30, 2012 at 10:08 am, a man entered a restaurant located in the 6200 block of Broadway and walked directly behind the cashier counter. He pulled out a handgun and brandished it in front of the cashier and demanded money. The cashier, in fear for his safety, opened the cash register and stepped away. The suspect walked up to the register, removed the money and walked out of the restaurant. The suspect is described as a 25 to 27-year-old African-American, who stands around 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He was wearing a black beanie, black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt. Brazen Home Invasion Robbery Suspects Sought

Los Angeles: LAPD Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify three home invasion robbery suspects who tied up one victim during a robbery. On January 9, 2012, at about 2:35 pm, officers were called to a residence in the 12000 block of Dunblane Avenue to investigate a home invasion robbery that had just occurred. Officers discovered the suspects had forced their way into two different homes in the area, ransacking them and taking items of jewelry. One resident who confronted the suspects was tied up by them but not injured. They are described as two 20- to 25-year-old male Blacks, one 6 foot 3 inches tall weighing about 200 to 225 pounds and the other 5 feet 9 inches tall weighing about 170 to 180 pounds. When they ran from the residence, both ran to a waiting newer-model, white Chevrolet Traverse Sports Utility Vehicle with collision damage on the passenger’s front door, driven by a third suspect. Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Wilshire Division Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of a suspect who robbed a 26-year-old woman inside a bus. On January 9, 2012, around 6:15 am, the suspect and the victim where both on a bus on Pico Boulevard at La Cienega Boulevard when the suspect approached the victim. The suspect struck the victim twice on the face and took her cell phone. When the bus came to a stop, the suspect got off and left eastbound on Pico Boulevard. The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics treated the victim for minor injuries at scene. The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 20-27 years-old, brown eyes, 5’6″ tall, weighs around 180-200 pounds and has a shaved head. Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects who burglarized a business in the 1100 block of South Robertson Boulevard. On May 31, 2011, around 3 am, the suspects pried open the front door, kicked through the second door of a medical marijuana dispensary. Once inside, the suspects took medical marijuana, US currency, a cash register, and left the location in a light-colored minivan. Suspect No.1 is described as a 35 to 40 year old Black male. He stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He is seen wearing a black beanie cap, dark rimmed glasses, a white and blue jog suit jacket, light blue jeans and dark shoes. Suspect No.2 is described as a 35-40 year old Black male with short black hair. He stands about 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 240 pounds. He is seen wearing a black jacket over a white shirt, dark blue pants, and dark shoes. Los Angeles: Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a hit and run driver who struck and critically injured a 45-year-old woman and her 17-year-old son as they were crossing the street. On Sunday, August 21, 2011, at about 11:30 am, a motorist traveling northbound on Western Avenue hit two pedestrians walking westbound in the crosswalk at the intersection of 80th Street and Western Avenue. The driver failed to stop to render aid or identify themselves as required by law. LAFD rescue personnel responded to the scene and transported both victims to a local hospital where they are in critical condition. The driver is described as a female African American in her mid fifties, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. She was driving a dark late model car described as a possible Toyota, and would likely have sustained right front end damage and be missing the right side mirror. Los Angeles: LAPD West Los Angeles Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that will lead to the arrest of a suspect responsible for a robbery in the West LA Area. On August 14, at around 11 pm, an African-American male entered the “Service Station of the Stars” located in the 9400 block of East Pico Boulevard. The suspect walked up to an employee, pulled out a blue-steel semi automatic hand gun and demanded that the employee put the money in a black plastic bag. Once the suspect’s demands were met, he ran from the station in an unknown direction. The service station was equipped with a CCTV system that captured the robbery on video. The suspect is described as an African-American male that appeared to be 25-30 years-old. He stood about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 160 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a black sleeveless hoodie, lime-green shirt, and black jeans.
